Ingredients
For the Wings
2 lb (900 g) chicken wings
2 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tbsp Chimi Boss Blends Hot Honey Blaze seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp kosher salt (optional depending on seasoning)
Hot Honey Glaze
1/3 cup honey
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp Chimi Boss Blends Hot Honey Blaze seasoning
1 tsp hot sauce (optional for extra heat)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
How to Make Hot Honey Chicken Wings
1) Season the Wings
Pat the wings dry with paper towels. In a bowl, toss wings with olive oil, Chimi Boss Blends Hot Honey Blaze seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Let wings sit for 10 minutes while the grill heats.
2) Grill the Wings
Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400°F / 200°C). Place wings on the grill and cook 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally, until crispy and fully cooked. Internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C.
3) Make the Hot Honey Glaze
In a small saucepan combine honey, butter, Hot Honey Blaze seasoning, hot sauce (optional), and apple cider vinegar. Heat gently for 1–2 minutes until smooth and combined.
4) Glaze the Wings
Brush the hot honey glaze over the wings during the final 2–3 minutes of grilling. Flip once and brush again so the glaze caramelizes slightly.
5) Serve
Remove the wings from the grill and let them rest for 2 minutes. Serve with extra hot honey drizzle, celery sticks, and ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Other Cooking Methods
Air Fryer Hot Honey Wings
Air fry at 400°F / 200°C for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway, until wings are crispy and reach 165°F / 74°C. Toss with hot honey glaze after cooking.
Oven-Baked Hot Honey Wings
Bake at 425°F / 220°C for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through. Brush with hot honey glaze during the final 5 minutes.

Tips for Crispy Wings
• Dry the wings well before seasoning — moisture is the enemy of crispy skin.
- Cook over medium-high heat for crispy skin without burning.
- Glaze at the end so the honey doesn't burn on the grill.
- Let wings rest 2 minutes before serving to lock in the juices.
- Double the glaze if you want extra saucy wings — it keeps in the fridge for a week.
Storage & Reheating
Leftover wings keep well in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat and keep them crispy, use an air fryer at 375°F for 5–6 minutes rather than the microwave. The hot honey glaze can be made ahead and stored separately in the fridge for up to 1 week.
